Educational Background and Work Experience
· Management Degree from a reputed institution
· 7- 10 years Experience out of which atleast 3 years of experience in Micro Finance.
· Preferred area of expertise - Investment Banking, Micro Finance and/or Consulting.
· Demonstrated track record in leadership, mentoring, team building and motivating.
Skills set required:
· To contribute to and carry out the strategic plans and policies for rapid growth.
· Willingness to set goals for self and be accountable for results.
· Strong interpersonal communication, Business promotion and networking skills.
· Commitment to prove oneself and high calibre leadership quality.
· Technology savvy, pleasant mannered, good presentation skills to attract stakeholders and investors.
· Ability to spot business opportunities, assess sensitivities and sectoral trends.
Compensation

Microfinance Management Consultants
Job responsibilities:
Advise MFIs on all aspects of strategic and operational development, including credit operations, risk management, human resource management etc.; Provide recommendations and guidance in strengthening the corporate governance; Provide support to the senior management in defining and implementing strategic plans; Develop relevant governance policies and procedures, marketing and business plans; Review and improve financial, controlling and risk management tools, and reporting procedures; Provide support in the development and streamlining of effective rural lending procedures; Implement innovations in marketing, human resource management and business process optimization.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial sector and at least 5 years in rural MFIsExperience in developing and implementing microfinance product and procedures, financial and risk management tools, staff recruitment and training. Demonstrated ability in long-term strategic planning and business plan development. Extensive experience in setting up corporate governance structures for MFIs. Experience in developing and installing credit operation, risk management policies and practice in rural financial institutions.

Micro Finance Training coordinators
Job responsibilities:The incumbent will be required to assess and consolidate training needs of MFI practitioners (boards, management, and staff) on MFI governance, accounting, information systems, credit policies and procedures, risk assessment tools, and regulatory and reporting requirements, etc. They need to develop a training plan and coordinate to engage local microfinance training entities in delivering practical training courses tailored to the training needs identified, and to enhance the training capacity of existing local training entities for sustainability. They are supposed to provide individual training and day-to-day support catered to meet specific training requirements of the pilot MFIs, including on-the-job mentoring of board members, managers, and staff in all aspects of microfinance operation, as necessary. They are also supposed to prepare progress reports of above mentioned activities. They also need to ensure that training modules and training curricula are standardized and consistent with microfinance best practices, sustainable operation, and outreach to the poor.
Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in banking or finance or a development-related subjectAt least 7 years recognized professional experience in the areas of training, microfinance, and project management Prior microfinance training experience is required
